John is the public face of his motley, the Apostolic Knights, along with Strong Matthew, Mark Stalwart, and Quiet Luke.

Description: John is a short, stocky man with the blood of a salamander. His skin has a reddish cast to it, and appears to be covered in fine scales. He is totally devoid of body hair, and the shimmer of heat that always surrounds him indicates that it has long since burned off.

Storytelling Hints: John St. Elmo is a pushy man, who enjoys being in a position of power. Some would characterize him as a bully, while others (mainly other Summer courtiers) simply see him as a man who does a difficult and unpopular job efficiently, effectively, and without complaint.

John never goes anywhere without his signature wraparound sunglasses. Even at night or indoors. Rumors abound, but John refuses to put any of them to rest. Perhaps he likes it that way.
