Contracts of Eternal Light
The character ‘shines’ brilliantly through the Wyrd. This allows his or her allies to track them no matter where they have gone. This clause can also be used to allow someone who does not wish the changeling harm to find him/her from a distance.
Cost: 1 Glamour
Dice Pool: Wyrd + Occult
Catch: The changeling can see the sky.
Dramatic Failure: The Wyrd actually twists away from the changeling leading all attempts to find them astray. -1 to attempts to find them using contracts or conventional tracking through the hedge for a scene.
Failure: The invokers allies gain no bonuses to tracking them.
Success: The character’s allies gain a general idea of where she or he is. +2 on all attempts to find the changeling invoking the contract
Exceptional Success: The allies know exactly where the changeling is for the rest of the scene. Moving him or her does not break this link.
+3 The changeling is in an area know well by themselves or their allies.
+2 The changeling has been able to leave some kind of trail even of items that would not normally remain/catch attention (i.e., bread crumbs)
+1 The changeling invoking the clause would be particularly out of place in an area (a white journalist in an African tribe, an Ogre taken by a motley of Fairest, etc.)
–1 The changeling wishing to be found is wearing clothing that particularly blends in to the surroundings (i.e., white clothes in a snowstorm).
–2 An abductor is actively concealing the trail.
–3 A significant amount of time has gone by since the abduction.
Snug Hearth (••)
Cost: 1 Glamour
Dice Pool: Occult + Composure
Catch: The clause is invoked inside a building otherwise empty or full of those allied with the changeling.
Dramatic Failure: The Wyrd twists the area not only failing to provide access to a place of refuge but causing all manner of discomfort to the invoking changeling (Storyteller’s discretion. Examples: Freak violent storm, special attention from local pests, etc.)
Success: The changeling makes an entrance to secure dwelling that resembles a rough cottage. Within is fuel for a fire ready in the fireplace, a hot and tasteless though nourishing porridge to eat, and appropriate though not especially comfortable bedding. Only those permitted entrance by the changeling may enter, to those not permitted the entrance remains invisible. All inside must leave by the same point they entered. The shelter lasts until the next sunrise.
Exceptional Success: The changeling creates an entrance as before but instead of snug cottage it grants access to a well furnished mansion. The temperature of the mansion conforms with the changeling’s idea of comfortable and is not affected by outside conditions. Within are comfortable quarters, a sumptuous banquet, and luxurious bedding. As with a normal success only those permitted entrance by the changeling may enter. to those not permitted the entrance remains invisible. All inside must leave by the same point they entered. The shelter lasts a full 24 hours from invocation.

–1 Subject is in an area actively held by his or her enemies.
Shimmering Sphere (•••)
Cost: 1 Glamour
Dice Pool: Wits+ Occult
Catch: The character has access to a prism or water spray to refract and reflect light.
Dramatic Failure: A shimmering sphere of energy enfolds them but robs them of mobility leaving them protected but entirely immobile for a number of rounds.
Failure: No sphere can formed.
Success: The changeling is enfolded in a shimmering sphere of light that resembles a bubble. This provides immunity to ranged physical attacks and confers a -2 on all physical attacks for a number of rounds equal to successes.
Exceptional Success: It provides total immunity to ranged and physical attacks for a number of rounds equal to successes.
Guiding Star (••••)
Just as the stars point the way for the sailors and explorers of old so they point the way to what the changeling seeks. Using this clause the changeling gains a general awareness of the direction of the person or object that they seek which grows stronger as they near.
Cost: 2 Glamour
Dice Pool: Investigation + Resolve
Action: Extended ( Storyteller may require intermittent rolls to maintain the connection)
Catch: The invoker can see the night sky
Dramatic Failure: The attempt to disrupt the target fails the target gains a +1 to extended rolls out of spite.
Failure: The character gains an connection to guide them to something dangerous that will not lead them to the object they seek.
Success: The character gains a connection with the individual or object they’re searching for which grows steadily stronger.
Exceptional Success: The connection goes both ways through the wyrd with the object or individual to actively seek the invoker.
+1 Individual wants to be found, or the changeling invoking this clause has some pre-existing connection to the object.
–1 Individual is actively evading the changeling, or the changeling invoking this clause believes the item rightfully belongs to another.
Prismatic Bulwark (•••••)
The character or target’s clothing appears as a radiant version of it’s normal state. Imbued with glamour it acts the amour of legend protecting it’s wearer against all manner of harm.
Prerequisites: Mantle (Autumn) ••••
Cost: 2 Glamour
Dice Pool: Resolve + Wyrd
Catch: The target is wearing clothing made of things from the hedge.
Dramatic Failure: The targets clothing becomes unbearably heaving requiring a successful strength check to keep mobile. All the weight of legendary armor with none of the protection.
Success: The changeling, causes the target clothing to provide fantastic protection equal to that of the best armor (This is vague at the moment become I’m not entirely sure how armor in WOD works.) The clothing also lends a +1 to social rolls.
Exceptional Success: The protection offered by the clothing lasts a full 24 hours and lends a +3 to social rolls due to its magnificence.
+2 The clothing has been freshly cleaned.
+1 The clothing is in good condition and well cared-for.
-1 The clothing is dirty or rumpled-looking.
–2 The clothing is deeply stained or filthy.
